Evans Mirieri
Program DirectorEvans has experience as the director of public relations and communication with a number of public and nonprofit organizations (or NGOs). He currently coordinates Project Daraja from the Center office in Nairobi, Kenya and he provides oversight of our restorative justice project with the Kenyan community in Minnesota as well. He brings to the Center team an expertise in multiple disciplines, among them organizational communication, program development and management, restorative justice mediation, public policy analysis, and NGO governance, leadership, and planning.
As a native of Kenya, Evans is fluent in three languages and has dual masters degrees — one in linguistics and the other in public administration and nonprofit management.
